Corrie actress Sue Cleaver, who plays Eileen Grimshaw, has been speaking this week about her desire to see Bruno return to the street as on screen son Todd.

In an interview with Inside Soap magazine, she says: "I'd love to see Todd back, but it's out of my power, sadly! When I last spoke to Bruno, he was enjoying being a daddy."

Bruno will be starring in his hometown's annual pantomime this Christmas.

Aladdin will be performed at the Opera House in Buxton from 11th December to 1st January and will also star Over The Rainbow semi-finalist Steph Fearon.

It's been announced that Bruno will be participating in a reading of the new play 'Intimate Strangers'.

The play will be read on 8th June at London's Vaudeville Theatre at noon, and is based on a meeting between famous spouses Arthur Miller and Marilyn Monroe and Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh. It will be performed by Bruno, Susie Lindeman, Issy van Randwyck, Mark Tandy and James Wilby, produced by Andrew Jenkins and directed by Emmy winner and Golden Globe nominee Greta Scacchi.

Bruno was in his hometown of Buxton on Friday to officially open a mental health charity's new support centre.

The opening for The Grapevine Project's new centre was well attended by service users, staff, volunteers and representatives from a wide range of local services which support people with mental health problems.
