Fancy owning a jumper worn by Bruno in Coronation Street?
Well now you can! It is currently being sold on ebay, and comes with a certificate of authentication.
The jumper in question was worn by Bruno for many pivotal scenes throughout Corrie in 2003/2004, including this scene when Todd told Eileen he was gay.
According to the Daily Star, Bruno's on screen brother Ryan Thomas is planning to launch a behind the scenes petition to bring him back to the show!
Bruno is currently back on screen as Todd Grimshaw, but only until next month. Both Ryan and executive producer Kieran Roberts recently spoke in The Sun about how they want to bring Bruno back to Corrie permanently, and it seems Ryan is determined to make this happen if this petition is anything to go by!
In the Daily Star, Ryan also speaks about how he thinks his on screen family are one of the best families on the show at the moment, and that he plans on making the Grimshaws as big as the Platts, or even bigger than them!
Bruno's brief return seems to have proved popular with both viewers and his fellow cast members. A recent poll in Inside Soap magazine asked whether you'd like to see Todd come back to Corrie full-time, and a massive 82% said yes! And both Ryan, Kieran and Sarah Platt actress Tina O'Brien have all given positive comments about Bruno's return to the press, with Tina most recently saying in Look magazine that "it's been brilliant" having Bruno back.
A special video tribute to the Grimshaw family has been uploaded to the official Corrie website here (non UK viewers click here).
In this special tribute, there are interviews with Bruno and other cast members as well as some fab clips of Todd, Eileen and Jason in action! From Todd's relationship with Sarah to his kiss with Nick to his return, it's all there!
Ryan Thomas recently mentioned that he and Bruno have recorded some interviews for a special Grimshaws Family Album for ITV and the above video looks like it maybe a preview of that. Hopefully it is otherwise it'll be very disappointing if the family album Ryan has mentioned is only going to be 3 minutes on the ITV website rather than a half hour special on TV!
Also on the Corrie website, there is a new behind the scenes video here (non UK viewers click here). This video shows footage from behind the scenes of Sarah and Jason's wedding and also David's "death plunge". There are a few clips of Bruno shown during the wedding segment, where he arrives for filming at the church and is also sat inside the church waiting for filming to begin.
I've just added some pictures from last night's episode of Corrie to the gallery - see them by clicking on the thumbnail below!
And don't forget that you can read all about this week's episodes of Corrie, and watch the full episodes (if you live in the UK), on the official Corrie website. Check out these links below....
With promotion for Corrie's wedding of the year now in full flow, a couple of website's have uploaded pictures from the episode. Digital Spy have some here, with a couple of Todd, and the Manchester Evening News have some here, again with a couple of Todd.
It seems that a couple of pieces have now been added to that Ian Whylie article from yesterday.
In addition to a picture of Todd, Jason and Sarah stood at the aisle at the church, there is also a quote from Corrie executive producer Kieran Roberts, who confirms that the writers will be coming up with ideas to bring Todd back!
Kieran says: "We've been very impressed with Bruno's performances and the writers will be coming up with ideas to bring Todd back. He's a terrific actor and it would be great for the Grimshaws to have him back for good."
Meanwhile, The Sun newspaper also has an article on this here, where Kieran adds that "there’s a lot of scope for storylines for Todd because of his history with Jason, Eileen and Sarah".
Jason Grimshaw actor Ryan Thomas also says that he talked to Bruno about the possibility of a more permanent return: "I talked to Bruno about this while we were making the documentary Family Album: The Grimshaws and it makes sense for him to return. He's interested in the idea. Jason and Todd have a great bond as brothers and after all family is what Corrie is all about. Jason has got past all the gay thing now – he’s not scared of it anymore – and he wants to see more of his brother."
Sarah Platt actress Tina O'Brien adds: "It was great working with Bruno again".
