    DON'T FORGET TO SPONSOR BRUNO
Posted on 04 May 2008 by Laura
Don't forget that you can still sponsor Bruno and raise money for the RNLI by clicking onto his official fundraising page at http://www.justgiving.com/brunolangley.

Bruno has now reached his fundraising target of £150 but that doesn't mean that you don't need to sponsor him anymore - it would be fantastic for Bruno to further surpass his target and raise as much money as possible for such a great and worthwhile charity as the RNLI, so make sure you sponsor him if you haven't done so already! smile

You can watch The Grimshaw Family Album on ITV1 tonight from 8.30pm-9.00pm if you missed seeing it the first time round!
BRUNO TO STAR IN FLASHDANCE - UPDATED
Posted on 01 May 2008 by Laura
Exciting Bruno news today as it's been announced that he will be starring in the world premier of Flashdance The Musical! smile

According to his CV on his agent's website (which is complete with a new profile picture too!), he is about to start rehearsals for a nationwide tour of Flashdance in the UK.

Bruno will be touring with the show from July through to January and it will see him visit Plymouth, Southampton, Wolverhampton, Aberdeen, Manchester, Edinburgh, Bradford, Sunderland, Eastbourne, Torquay and Oxford, with further dates to be announced. Tickets are on sale now - for a full list of tour dates, plus links to buy tickets, please visit the official Flashdance tour website here.

Many of you will be familiar with the popular and successful 1980s film starring Jennifer Beals and Michael Nouri, which featured the famous "What A Feeling" song by Irene Cara. You can read more about the film here.

This new tour sounds like it'll be an exciting and wonderful opportunity for Bruno so many congratulations to him on this fantastic new role smile

Update: With the exciting news of Bruno's new role, there has also been some uncertainty about whether he would still be taking part in Sleeping Beauty in Dublin. This morning, the official Sleeping Beauty website was updated with Bruno heading the cast in the role of the young man/Prince Richard. This has since been removed, however, so presumably this pretty much confirms that Bruno is no longer involved in the production of Sleeping Beauty. There's nothing on the official website to suggest who his replacement may be however.

As one door closes, another one opens, as they say! Whilst it looks pretty much confirmed that Bruno won't be appearing in Sleeping Beauty, we've now got Flashdance to look forward to over the next few months which, in my opinion, is perhaps even more of an exciting prospect! smile

Bruno is doing the run to help raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) so it would be great if you could please show your support for Bruno and for this very worthwhile charity by sponsoring him and donating whatever you can! You can sponsor him via his official fundraising page at http://www.justgiving.com/brunolangley so it would be really great to show our support and help him reach his fundraising target! smile

SLEEPING BEAUTY CAST ALBUM TO BE RELEASED
Posted on 18 Apr 2008 by Laura
There have been a few snippets of info about Sleeping Beauty this week, ahead of its opening in just 4 weeks time.

Probably the most exciting piece of news is that a cast album of the musical is being released. Bruno's co star Danny John-Jules appeared on Irish TV show ICE last Friday, where he talked about the show and the auditions they are holding this week for three young children to join the cast. Towards the end of the interview, he mentioned a cast album being released, although there are no more details about this at present. You can watch Danny's interview here.

The UK mags have now started to feature the news about the musical, with this week's Soaplife magazine mentioning former Corrie stars Bruno and Lucy Evans as being in it.

However, a couple of articles also released this week suggests that Lucy may not be starring in the show after all. Both the Limerick Post and UTV are carrying stories that Irish talent show winner Leanne Moore is to take the lead female role in Sleeping Beauty. Seeing as this role was supposed to be played by Lucy then I can only presume that Lucy is either no longer doing it or the press have got it wrong and attributed Leanne to the wrong role!

Rehearsals for the show are due to start on 28th April though so I'm sure a full cast list for the show will be announced on the official website very soon.

    (thanks to Peter and Joanna)

    BRUNO SPOTTED

Bruno features in this week's spotted section in Heat magazine:

Former Corrie actor Bruno Langley in the quiet coach of a London to Manchester train, looking unimpressed and muttering, "Oh, right" when a random girl said, "David's pushed Gail down the stairs!"
