outnorthwest has teamed up with Livenation and The Palace Theatre and are giving away 3 pairs of tickets to see Flashdance in Manchester on 8th September.
Bruno recently did an interview for This Is Hampshire, which has been published today.
In the interview, Bruno discusses Flashdance and reveals that his character is American, therefore meaning that he is having to put his American accent into practice for the duration of the show! When asked how he's getting on with the accent, he says that it's a learning curve and that he is quite delicate with it.
He also discusses how Flashdance is his first foray into musical theatre professionally and that it's a big change for him. He says: "Sometimes I think that was good. Other times I think that was awful. You've got to try and meet yourself in the middle somewhere and try and enjoy it."
And when asked what his next challenge is after Flashdance, he says that he's going to take a break and do some TV and film auditions, hopefully getting some great parts.
The official Flashdance website has been updated with some new goodies, ahead of the tour officially starting in Plymouth tomorrow!
The website now has a full cast list on there, as well as some songs from the show, a wallpaper to download for your computer, and cast/crew blogs from behind the scenes!
In the meantime, there's an interview with Bruno's co star Victoria Hamilton-Barritt on the This Is Plymouth website - in this interview, she talks about the intense audition process and also the possibility of the show coming to the West End. About this possibility, she says: "People are really hoping and expecting it to come to the West End, but we're still waiting to hear.
Here's hoping! Click here to read the full interview.
Hi everyone, I must apologise for the lack of updates just recently.....unfortunately real life has taken over somewhat, not leaving me enough time to make any updates!
There hasn't really been much to report anyway though as I'm sure Bruno has been busy in rehearsals ahead of the opening of Flashdance in Plymouth on Saturday!
I'll be making lots of updates to the site soon though, and hopefully adding a bit of a new look as well!
In an interview with Loose Women yesterday, Bruno revealed a bit more about his Flashdance character, saying that he is a "singing crack addict"!!
He also revealed that his character Jimmy is a down and out who is always looking for a break and will do anything to pursue his dreams - but it ends in disastrous consequences.
Although we will get to see Bruno sing in the show, it doesn't sound like he will be dancing as well! Bruno says he's terrible at dancing and that if he;s asked to put his right hand up, he'll hold up his left
He also spoke a bit about Coronation Street and why he chose to leave - he said that he wanted to do some theatre and get his training there.
He also spoke about his acting heroes, listing Marlon Brando and Oliver Reed amongst his favourites.
According to digiguide, Bruno will be a guest on ITV1's Loose Women show on 25th June.
The listings state: "Another helping of fiery non-stop lunchtime chat and fun with the effervescent Loose Ladies including Jackie Brambles and Jane McDonald. Singer Peter Noone and actor Bruno Langley pop in to chat."
Loose Women airs on 25th June at 12.30pm-1.30pm on ITV1 and is repeated the next day at 1.55am-2.50am.
