American Beauty
I absolutely love films and going to the cinema. Watching films had a lot to do with me becoming an actor. If I had to pick just one film, I'd say American Beauty. I thought it was a beautiful film - like a real work of art. I don't know how many times I've seen it - loads! I've got it on DVD, of course.

Pasta
I'm quite a master at cooking pasta. I do all sorts of sauces, but it's got to have chilli in it. I like a bit of spice! I love Italian restaurants, too. My parents used to take us when we were little and it was great.

Jack Daniel's
I love Jack Daniel's and ice. I began to drink it a while ago when I got fed up with flavoured vodkas. It's a Frank Sinatra kind of drink! It makes me feel really smooth and I think it adds to your character.

Cameron Diaz
I'm really into Cameron Diaz. She brings a sense of fun to every part she plays. She looks like she's having a good time, which makes you feel the same way. It's nothing to do with what she looks like! OK, it's 90 per cent to do with what she looks like - she's gorgeous.

Katie Melua
My whole family is musical. My dad makes musical instruments, so music has always been part of my life. I love all types of music, from pop to film music. I'm really into Jamie Cullum and Katie Melua's jazz/blues style at the moment. The fact that Katie is a babe also helps, so if you want to set me up on a date with her...

Books
I read a lot and I especially love reading biographies and autobiographies. A while ago, I read a novel called Perfume by Patrick Suskind and it was brilliant. It's a very dark story about a guy who's high on smells. He kills women to extract their scent! It's very descriptive and really quite unique.

Ibiza
I love Ibiza. I think it was a place where people went to avoid the war in the 40s and it's still got that secluded feel. It's beautiful when you get away from the crowded areas. I've always avoided the club scene in San Antonio - especially when I was in Corrie. Anything could happen!

The Sopranos
There's a theme here, isn't there? I love everything Italian and The Sopranos portrays that Italian way of life perfectly. It's all about style, passion and a laid-back attitude. I've got all the DVD box sets of the series.
