    Ex-Corrie Star's A Doctor Who Boy

So, did you love Dr Who or what? Ace has to admit that, while it was kinda cheesy in parts, we loved it and can't wait for the next installment!

To feed our growing addiction we had a chat with another star of the series.

Bruno Langley, 21, plays Adam in a forthcoming episode of the show and if you recognise the face, that's cos he used to play Todd, Sarah-Lou's ex in Corrie.

Lucky old Bruno Langley gets to play Rose Tyler's (Billie Piper) love interest, Adam, in an episode of the new Dr Who.

"They are attracted to each other and there is something between them. She picks him up at New Year 2050," sez the 21-year-old former Corrie lad. "But he mucks things up. he's not that nice!"

He plays the character in episodes 5 and 6 of the show, so look out for him.

Any seasoned fan will think of Dr Who and think of Daleks and Bruno Langley had the pleasure of acting with 'em!

In one scene his character Adam mocks the robots- famous for the phrase "EXTERMINATE!"- for not being able to climb stairs, at which point the Dalek fires upwards with the word "ELEVATE!"

"It's the biggest gag in the series. I'm very privileged to get that line," he sez, proudly.

He might have had the honour of filming with Dr Who's iconic Daleks, but they brought their own set of problems for the show's Bruno Langley.

"They gave me nightmares when I went to bed after filming all day," sez the lad who plays Adam in episodes 5 and 6.

"I dreamt of them chasing me through corridors. They are scary because they are like The Terminator, they don't stop until they get what they want!"

Ex-Corrie star Bruno Langley couldn't believe his luck when he got a role in Dr Who.

"I went to see my relatives in Australia and they all knew about Dr Who!" he bubbles.

"I reckon it'll blow the (TV) opposition out of the water. The production values are like a film, there are 13 episodes and it's like 13 filmes."

Although his character, Adam, gets dropped back off in Nottingham after his Tardis adventures, Bruno Langley is hoping to get a role in the next series of Dr Who.

In the meantime he has lotsa stage work to contend with.

"I've had some big jobs and I need to get some groundwork in this summer. Doing theatre now will help me no end when I come back to do TV or film."

Before Dr Who, Bruno Langley made his name playing Todd in Coronation Street, but does he miss the show?

"I definitely left Corrie at the right time but I miss the others so much, I didn't think I would," he confesses.

"But I've had so much more of a social life since leaving without the constant scrutiny. I've had a great time, no regrets, but I'd never say never to going back." Watch this "space"...
