Corrie Heartbreaker In Tardis Trip
On April 30, Doctor Who will face his oldest and deadliest foe as he encounters a Dalek, which is being held captive by a millionaire collector.
The Time Lord (Christopher Eccleston) and his companion Rose (Billie Piper) will be accompanied on this adventure by former Coronation Street star Bruno Langley.
Famous for playing troubled gay character Todd Grimshaw, who fled the Street after breaking Sarah Louise Platt's heart, the actor appears here as Adam Mitchell.
Earlier this month, journalists were invited to a special screening of the episode, which ended with Langley's character joining the Doctor and Rose for further adventures in the Tardis.
How long he'll continue to travel with the duo is not known, with rumours circulating he'll be killed off the following week when Simon Pegg makes a guest appearance as a futuristic villain.
Bruno is not the first Coronation Street star to accompany the time traveller.
When the sci-fi series started in 1963, William Russell played the part of schoolteacher Ian Chesterton, who stuck with the Doctor for two years.
Then, in 1992, he turned up in Weatherfield as tragic Ted Sullivan, who died just months after marrying Kabin proprietor Rita.
Other Corrie stars who have appeared in Doctor Who include Helen Worth (Gail Platt), Geoffrey Hinsliff (Don Brennan) and John Savident (Fred Elliott).
