My Guilty Pleasures
Bruno Langley is best known for playing Corrie's Todd Grimshaw. Since leaving in 2004, Bruno - who once dated co-star Tina O’Brien - has starred in Doctor Who and this week appears in BBC1's Dalziel & Pascoe. Bruno, 23, is single and lives in London.
TV!
If you're in on your own, what do you secretly watch on the telly?
I love Shipwrecked, but my favourite show is 10 Years Younger,
which my friends think is very uncool. I like the end bit when you see the contestants after they've been given their makeover. They always look amazing.
FOOD!
What can't you help snacking on, even though you know you shouldn't?
Chocolate bars - Dimes and Mint Aeros especially. And I love old-style sweets like Sherbert Fountains - anything that fizzes when you put it in your mouth.
CRUSH!
Do you have a secret celebrity crush?
Sarah Beeny from Property Ladder. She has a certain quality - in fact she has two certain qualities, each on the front of her chest!
HOLS!
Where's the tackiest place you've been on holiday and loved?
I went to one of the Greek islands on a package holiday with my brother about four years ago. I can't even remember which island it was - the whole week was a blur of girls and booze.
MUSIC!
What's the most tragic CD you own?
I bought a Huey Lewis And The News album because I loved their hit The Power Of Love from the film Back To The Future, but it's absolutely rubbish. I don't think you could even get rid of it in a charity shop.
BAD HABITS!
What's your grubbiest habit?
You need to talk to my sisters! Burping, farting, the usual. And being untidy. My flat's a mess, especially now I've just bought two gerbils called Jimmy and Joey. I'm very nice to them, although they tend to bite me. And if I leave the door of their cage open, they'll be gone for days.
FASHION!
Which item in your wardrobe would shock the fashion police?
A mate brought me some military Y-fronts from Russia. They're horrible - tight, camouflage briefs. I gave them to my dad and he loves them. They're his favourite pants. I've also got a really cheesy '80s denim jacket, which I bought to go to a party as Marty McFly from Back To The Future.
FILMS!
What's the cheesiest film you own?
Obviously Back To The Future! I was obsessed with that film. I also love Artificial Intelligence: AI with Jude Law, which is pretty cheesy. It makes me cry. I always cry at films - the last time was during Crash.
SPENDING!
What did you snap up in your last big spending spree?
I tend to spend a lot on clothes. I buy Diesel jeans - it's so easy these days to spend £150 on one pair of jeans. But the last thing I bought was an iPod, which I listen to all the time on the Tube in London.
CRINGE!
What's your most humiliating experience?
I spend my life trying not to get into embarrassing situations. But one of the main things that makes me blush is watching naughty scenes on the TV when my parents are in the room.
