Bruno's Role
The League of Gentlemen is a very successful cult BBC dark
comedy sketch show.
Mark
Gatiss, Steve Pemberton, and Reece Shearsmith play a
variety of characters, such as Pauline Campbell-Jones,
Barbara Dixon, Tubbs, and Herr Lipp.
The show
was first broadcast in 1999 and five years later, in 2005,
it became a feature length movie.
Filming
was completed in and around County Wicklow in
Ireland and Soho in London in 2004, and the movie was
released in UK cinemas nationwide on June 3rd
2005. It was a box office success, smashing its way into the top 5 in its first week of release.
It marked Bruno's film debut. He plays a boy scout named Damon, and
is involved in a very funny and ambiguous scene with Herr Lipp (played by
Steve Pemberton).
