Rose Tyler, a young shop assistant in a London department store, lives a humdrum and profoundly average life - until the night the shop dummies where she works wake up and try to kill her. Her life is saved by a strange man who only calls himself The Doctor, and intrigued by him, she finds herself thrown headlong into a hectic battle to stop an alien presence from invading Earth and annihilating the human race. She comes to learn that her new friend is even stranger than she thought - in fact, the Doctor's an alien adventurer called a 'Time Lord', seemingly the last of his race, who travels through time and space in his TARDIS battling evil where he finds it. And if she travels with him, she'll find herself witnessing the heat-death of the Earth five billion years in the future, meeting Charles Dickens in the past, and encountering lifeforms and invaders stranger than she'd ever thought possible. Only one thing is certain - it'll be the ride of a lifetime...

Bruno's Role
Cult sci-fi classic Doctor Who was a massive hit on the BBC throughout the 60s, 70s, and 80s before taking a 15 year break.
The series returned to our screens in 2005 and starred Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor and Billie Piper as his companion Rose Tyler, as well as featuring a host of famous faces.
It proved to be a massive hit, with regular audiences ranging from 6-10 million, and consistently thrashing the competition on ITV1.
Bruno joined the series as short-lived companion Adam Mitchell for two episodes entitled 'Dalek' and 'The Long Game'.
He started filming his scenes on October 18th 2004 in Cardiff and spent two months working on the show. His episodes were broadcast on 30th April 2005 and 7th May 2005 to fantastic reviews, and Bruno has since made appearances at Doctor Who conventions in the UK.
He memorably left the series when Adam became the first companion to be sacked from the TARDIS after betraying the Doctor. The Doctor cruelly left him behind on Earth with a chip inside his head that can be opened by a click of the fingers, warning him to keep out of trouble, be average and be unseen.
Bruno admits that he still has Doctor Who fans coming up to him and clicking their fingers in the hope that his head will open!!!

Reviews
"...the subplot about Adam's betrayal of the Doctor and Rose was by far the most enjoyable part of the episode...Bruno Langley's performance helped enormously, managing to be both irritating and endearing at the same time...I was left wanting to see more of him..." (Doctor Who Magazine) | Full Review
"...Bruno Langley is excellent, rising to a script that uncovers unexpected traits in a potential companion who is seduced by his own greed. He's a bit like Adric with elements of Turlough, only actually rather good..." (Starburst Magazine) | Full Review
"...highlight of The Long Game - Bruno Langley's turn as the devious Adam Mitchell..." (The Crumble) | Full Review
"...Bruno Langley, playing Adam, is also a good new addition..." (DVD Fever) | Full Review

"...Bruno Langley is very convincing as Adam, being less of a coward in this story, but showing that selfishness ultimately doesn't pay..." (Doctor Who Online) | Full Review
"...as Adam Mitchell, Bruno Langley conveyed a touchingly sweet shyness...in the words of the Doctor, Langley is ‘a bit pretty' which is unfortunately always going to hinder his efforts to be seen as the talented actor he is..." (Unit News) | Full Review
"...Bruno Langley (Coronation Street's gay Todd Grimshaw) makes his first appearance and, despite being pushed into the background, certainly has presence onscreen that should make good viewing in the future..." (DVD Fever) | Full Review
"...supported by a superb guest cast, including Bruno Langley as a boy genius who catches Rose's eye..." (Now Playing Magazine) | Full Review
