The website was first established on July 16th 2004, although it looked very different back then!

I was a huge fan of the Todd and Karl storyline in Coronation Street at the time (and I still am!) and so I decided to set up a website to show my appreciation for this.

Rather than being a website entirely about Bruno, it was more of a multimedia website, with many video clips of Todd and Karl being available for download. I had always wanted to learn how to create video clips from the TV, onto the computer, and then online, but I never really knew how. After a bit of research though, I purchased my first TV card, which would enable me to do just that.

And so a new website was born - Laura's Todd and Karl Clips! It was a very simple website back then, with just one page giving links to a variety of clips for download. I was amazed at how successful the website quickly became and so, shortly afterwards, I decided to branch out a bit and make the website larger. Rather than just offering video clips for download, I decided to add various other pages, offering news, pictures and information. However, the website still wasn't all about Bruno - it was mainly about the characters Todd and Karl, the actors involved, and the storyline surrounding them.

The website continued to be successful but, shortly after Bruno left Corrie, I began to realise that it was pretty pointless keeping the website as it was, seeing as he was moving on to other things. Now I wanted to show my appreciation and support for Bruno as an actor and so I decided to create a proper Bruno fansite.

I purchased the domain name brunolangleyfans.co.uk and set about creating an informative website entirely about Bruno. As well as a news page and a gallery, I also added informative pages about Bruno's career and the roles he has played, plus a biography, fans page, and videos of some of his TV roles and TV appearabces.

I was pretty pleased with the final result and hoped that everyone else would like it too. I received many lovely comments about the new website, and people continued to visit it in their droves, which really made all the hard work even more worthwhile!

The website has gone through many designs and layouts over the years but the aim of the website has always remained the same - to show support and appreciation for Bruno, to provide a great point of reference for his fans, and to help promote Bruno to people who may not know that much about him or his work.
